Appearance:
While only 5'4" tall, the head of the Zalt family is quite a striking sight, just as he likes to be. While quite sickly looking with his yellowish-grey skin, sunken in eyes and crooked teeth, he tends to carry himself with an eccentric unease.

He wears a grey suit that had gone out of style 30 years ago, and it really shows with all of the patch work that had gone into it and the unidentifiable stains on the cuffs. His long white hair hangs over his shoulders, wild and untamed in a frizzy fashion. His beady pastel purple eyes can easily be spotted from under his top hat despite how low it's pulled down. He carries a fancy cane with a silver handle on it.

Personality
If there is one way to describe Zalt, it would be eccentric. He rather enjoys the negative status he has gained around Phian and tends to wear it as a banner. He is the sort of person to bring misery to others just to watch them react. However, he knows his limits and usually avoids angering anyone in great authority.

He tends to remain rather distant from the world, seeing most living things as cadavers in the making.

History
Jacob Zalt was the second eldest of his generation, easily lining him up for the position of head of the family. He began his training as a necromancer at the young age of five. When his uncle died when he was 40, he inherited the position of head of the Zalt family. He had several brothers and sisters, though lost most of them due to the nature of Zalt necromancy.

Abilities
Considering it has been his lifetime's work, Zalt has come to be quite a good necromancer. Where as his peers can usually only have five undead under their control, he can have ten before it starts to strain him. Where as his peers can only force undead energy onto people only about two feet away, he can reach around ten.

While most of his currently animated dead are unknown, there is a rumor that he keeps a reanimated dragon hidden somewhere in a cave.
