Between Central City and Shelby University is a microisland that is used to store trash from both the university and the city. Despite how unattractive most dumps are, this one attracts quite a few inhabitants thanks to the parts that can be found on old, outdated machinery. The island itself is a micro island and thus has a barren landscape though it has developed quite a bit of color with the trash it's collected over the years.

Inhabitants
There are several species inhabiting the scrapyard, though no more than 20 occupants. More often than not, people who either visit or live on the island are one of four types of people, though other types of visitors are not unknown. However, the higher a person's status looks to be, the less they are trusted.

Workmen
These are the people who work for either Central City of Shelby University. Their jobs are usually to bring trash to the island and to check it for unwanted inhabitants. They usually work closely with scrapmen, either buying what the scrapmen have managed to find, selling food and water to them or working as ferrymen to bring the scrapmen from the island to either Central or Shelby. They tend to have difficulty telling the criminals from the inventors and will often haul both back to the Central City Police when they manage to catch them.

Criminals
These are the unwanted inhabitants that workmen are usually seeking out. More often than not criminals are people who work alone and are laying low and trying to avoid attraction attention for as long as their money can hold out. Then get to get along well with scrapmen, who provide them with food and water, though inventors tend not to get along with them due to the fact they make it harder for inventors to be left in peace.

Scrapmen
Scrapmen are the middlemen of the island. More often than not they spend their days rummaging through the junk, finding metals and pieces of machinery that look valuable. They then trade these scraps with inventors for new inventions and money. When the workmen come down, they sell the left over scraps as well as any inventions they can get their hands on to them. They also buy food and water for what money they can get and will sell it to the inventors and criminals.

Inventors
Inventors are usually people from Shelby and Central City factories fed up with bureaucracy who've decided to make their living living a low quality but free life on the Scrapyard. They spend their days tinkering and seeing what they can create from the scraps around them. They hate criminals for drawing workmen to the island, though have at least somewhat of a tolerance for scrapmen for saving them time in finding parts and bringing them the food and water they can't create for themselves.

Fashion
Fashion on this island is a bit less glamorous than many other islands. Goggles and gasmasks are very common. And it'd nearly impossible to get around with out a sturdy pair of boots and gloves. Most of their other fashion comes from an assortment of thrown away garments and fabrics. Some higher class fashions have found their way into their wardrobes, things such as top hats, suit vests and corsets, though wearing an entirely high class outfit tends to invite hostility from all classes of people and is avoided by the islanders.

Houses
Workmen and scrapmen tend to live in modest shacks on the surface of the island, generally near the port. Inventors and criminals tend to live under gound, usually with the entrances to their houses disguised as trash heaps. Some inventors, and by extension criminals and scrapmen, have gardens they've created and tubs they've left out to collect rainwater.
