Hydraulic Icarus Ad Test

The world of Icarus, a mass of islands floating forever in an endless sky. No one is quite sure how it came to be, though there are many stories. All that is known is that, sometime, this world came into being, and that the sun and the moon are unreachable. One could fly up or down, forward or back, to any side in a straight line forever, and always end up right back where one started.

The islands of this world may be found in any direction one looks, and vary in size from a fallen pebble to cities miles across. Between them lays a mass of open air. Because of this, the people of Icarus have spent many centuries unlocking the mysteries of flight that they might explore, colonize, and exploit the possible resources of other islands.

It is year 1752, the dawn of a new industrial age. As the small nations of the world compete for economic, technological, and military superiority, our tale begins...
