Chadan Airships is a brand of airships the originate in Central City. They are rigid framed dirigibles designed to be highly customizable, though are difficult for the average person to steer. They require a lot of knowledge to build on, though can make some great ships under the right hands.

They tend not to be very popular among people who aren't hobbyist airship mechanics and drivers because of the work that must go into them. Nobility does not have much interest in them because they don't have the status of other companies. Militaries tend not ignore them because they aren't mass produced for battle. Travelers and transporters tend to favor ships with more cabin space than they offer. And racers prefer something with a more aerodynamic frame. They're designed to be jacks-of-all-trades that can be tweaked in any direction their owners want them to be which makes them quite popular among pirates and smugglers as well.

They come in four "classes", each referring to their size. A is the smallest, D is the largest.
