Appearance:
Luke is kind of tall but not mammoth, standing around 6 feet even. He has a slightly muscular build, a rectangular figure overall. His face is strong and masculine with electric blue eyes. His dirty blond hair is split down the middle and swept out of his face, feathered in a short hairstyle.

More often than not he is seen wearing a brown thigh-high overcoat with a black ivy cap and a white ascot pinned with a mysterious cravat pin. On the rare occasion he can be coaxed out of his coat he can be seen wearing a white vest with a black shirt under it.

Personality
Luke is fairly untrusting of most people after many stings in the past, though harbors a secret hope for a family one day. He tends to be rather brash and abrupt in his words, not bothering to censor his mind on most issues. He tends to take on a protective streak for a certain kind of people, namely the kind of people he can see getting themselves into deep trouble. He also has a habit of trying to fix problems with slightly violent methods.

More often than not, he tends to see women as fragile creatures that need protecting and has difficulty in believing they can be anything else and still be considered a real woman. He holds the opinion that certain jobs and tasks should be dominated by women, despite his own secret love for cooking.

History
13 years ago, Lucas woke up in a swamp with no memory. He was severely injured, though had no idea what caused his injuries. In a confused daze, he stumbled into a local village on Phiah. When no one there could tell him who he was, he took on the name John and tried to start a life with the clothes on his back, literally.

10 years ago he was approached by a man in fine clothing claiming to be his brother, a lost prince who needed money to get the two of them back home. When John handed over the money, the man disappeared and was never seen from again. This brought him into deep debt and he was forced out on the streets for a second time in his life.

5 years ago he was approached by someone claiming to be a wizard who could restore his memory if he would help him. After working for the "wizard" for several months for little to pay, he realized he was being swindled and left.

After working in a work house for several years, he has finally stumbled on his brother and decided to join him in an attempt to see the world and perhaps cure him of his conning habits.

Abilities
Luke is fairly unskilled in terms of schooling and science. He can complete laborious tasks easily and is good at following orders, but he's still working on that reading business. He is also a good brawler in hand to hand combat, knife fights and bludgeoning weapons. Despite his appearance, he is much quicker than he looks.

He is quite an excellent cook, great at improvising. He even participates in street cook offs, though tends to try to keep that hobby a bit of a secret.

Recently he has manifested the ability to see ghosts, though his gift has only granted him the ability to see ghosts who are already there. He can't summon a ghost or control them in any fashion, at least not yet.
