Appearance:
People who catch sight of Julianne often do a double-take. She’s tall and seductive, her chocolate brown skin is devoid of blemish, and she wears clothes that show off her elegant curves. Her hazel green eyes contain a foxy mischief and fun-loving glow. She walks in and among people like she knows exactly who she is and what she wants, and her irreverent attitude can be contagious. She won’t balk at unconventional manners, such as sitting backwards in a chair, or on a man’s lap. Her voice carries a colloquial slur, heavy with flirty undertones. Everything about her reeks of low-class breeding, which she flaunts as shamelessly as she whips her charcoal black hair back and forth.

Personality:
It’s very outgoing and independent. Most of the time she tries to make the best of things, taking both a practical and positive look on life. She’s learned to be resourceful and lenient, but also confident and extremely determined. She looks after herself and no one else, and if no one bothers her, she doesn’t bother them. Julianne understands there’s no point in trying to achieve a great dream with her lowlife background, but rather take what life gives her and try to have fun.

Julianne also couldn’t be so proud of herself if she didn’t have standards; she’s witnessed and sometimes envied people who have it better than she does, but holds no grudges. She’s learned to get over her bitterness and tries to be a good person when she can afford to be. Sometimes she has bad days where she feels like she’s missing out on something, but a good party and friendly company can usually swing her back. Life’s been good and bad to her. In the end it’s all about attitude.

History:
Julianne’s father was a Drowl, and her mother was a dark-skinned human from Audum. They tried to raise Julianne and have a normal life, but the prejudice came thick and their options were few. Troubles and debts culminated, until her parents were murdered by a gang and Jules was abandoned to the streets in her pre-teens. She became a nifty street urchin, but avoided the gangs, risking an independent, unprotected routine.

Even at this stage, Julianne wasn’t that angry at people, but more frightened. She started discovering her ability to manipulate her male friends, to make them risk the dangers for her. At first she warmed up to this trick, until it made a good friend do something too stupid and he ended up caught and hanged. She developed a sense of self-loathing and insecurity and probably would have dug herself even deeper into a destructive lifestyle if it hadn’t been for Ethan Holm and his wife.

The couple found her on the streets when she got caught trying to steal from them. Ethan’s wife took pity on her and offered her a place to stay, which turned into a home, and soon they were a family. Julianne’s life took a turn for the better, she grew more confident under her new mother’s guidance, and gained a new love for adventure from Ethan. She traveled with him often, much her mother’s worry. Ethan began to take solo voyages more and more frequently, and one year, he didn’t return.

Embittered by this abandonment, Julianne grew distant from her mother and longed for an independent routine. When she was twenty, she embarked on her own trip to Audum’s more populated center isles. She adapted well to the city life and has been involved in the occasional shady deal, but knows how to hold her own and avoid trouble for the most part. For the past few months, she’s been employed as a maid under the Viscountess Evaleen. They get along well, but in the back of her mind, Julianne’s aware there’s more to her mistress than meets the eye, and she’s not sure it’s safe to dig deeper.

The healthiest thing for Julianne is very rare, even raw meat. She can eat normal food, and usually does so, but appreciates chances to have an ethnic meal. To match her carnivorous diet, she was born with unusually sharp canine teeth.
- Enhanced senses;
Julianne can see and smell better than most people. It’s very hard to sneak up on her.
- Voice;
Julianne’s voice can take on a mesmerizing layer and emanates attraction; people already attracted to her easily fall under the spell. She can strengthen and lessen the effect with relative ease now. Those under the spell feel compelled to do whatever she says.
